❓FAQ
1. Who should apply?
All AI startups — whether focused on infrastructure, middleware, or applications — are welcome, regardless of stage.
Early-stage teams benefit from guidance on product strategy and customer development.
Later-stage teams gain value through deep crypto-native mentorship (tokenomics, GTM, compliance).
EAK helps founders expand their crypto networks and unlock partnerships, sales, user testing, and fundraising opportunities.
2. Should non-crypto-native or Web2.5 startups apply?
Yes. Startups with varying degrees of crypto exposure — including fintechs, APIs, and SaaS for crypto — are welcome.
We view projects on a spectrum from Web2.5 to crypto-native.
What matters most is exceptional founders, not your current level of decentralisation.
3. When should I apply?
Apply as early as possible.
We offer both Early Admission and Regular deadlines.
Early applications increase your chance of selection and allow more review time.
4. When does the program start?
The upcoming cohort begins on August 12, 2025.
5. How much does the program cost?
There are no upfront fees — the program is free.
EAK takes a 3% advisory allocation in equity or tokens (depending on your stage).
This aligns incentives and ensures EAK is invested in your long-term success.
The only expectation is full commitment to the 6-week sprint.
6. Do you invest in tokens only?
No. EAK invests in both equity and tokens, and there’s no pressure to launch a token.
7. I need funding now. Do I have to wait for the cohort to finish?
No, you don’t have to wait.
If your raise doesn’t align with the cohort timeline, EAK can support you before the program starts.
Just apply — if you meet our criteria, we’ll reach out early.
8. If accepted, when do I start receiving support?
Support starts as soon as you’re accepted.
We begin mentorship and investor alignment immediately after onboarding.
9. How is the program structured?
The program includes 4 core activities:
Lectures: Weekly founder talks + Q&A from successful crypto operators.
1:1 Mentorship: Product, GTM, and fundraising discussions — with network intros when needed.
Weekly Check-ins: Accountability sessions to review progress, blockers, and momentum.
Demo Day: Final pitch to select angels, VCs, and exchanges (in-person and online).
On average, startups receive 50+ intro requests post-Demo Day from top-tier investors like Paradigm, Coinbase, Pantera, Multicoin, and more.
10. What happens after I submit my application?
Your application will be reviewed within 2 weeks.
If shortlisted, you'll be invited to a 20-minute GMeet interview with our ventures team.
Final decisions are shared within 1–2 days post-interview.
Due to volume, we may not provide feedback to teams not selected.
